A dialogue and exchange about early cloth, costume and lady's work as well as sewing items, cloth dolls and animals and all the fanciful things we dare to dream to collect.
My name is Anne Bedics and I'm the owner of The Cat Lady Antiques:American Country Furnishings and Folk Art. I specialize in 18th and 19th century homespun texiles, clothing, folk art quality cloth dolls and animals, as well as sewing items and all other forms of lady's work. It is out of a love for these things as a collector that my business grew and flourished. I also sell antique country furnishings including primitives, small furniture and painted pieces. You can view my offerings at www.thecatladyantiques.com. I also do several shows a year and have a dealer-run shop in Adamstown, Pennsylvania in The Black Angus.
The stuff collectors' dreams are made of. All written content and photos are the sole property of Anne M.Bedics and The Cat Lady Antiques and may not be used without the permission of the author.
